Pumpkin Patches and Festivals

The Autumn season goes into full swing this weekend as our local pumpkin patches open.

Camp Maranatha, 16800 East Maranatha Road in Maxwell, will host their Pumpkin Patch October 7, 14 and 21from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Admission is $8 per person, ages 4 and under free. Activities include Hay Bale Maze, Family Photo Station, Corn Box Play Area, Pumpkin Tic-Tac-Toe, Pumpkin Bowling, Pumpkin Decorating, Educational Discovery Stations, Apple Launching, Bobbing for Apples, 9-Square-in-the-Air, Gaga Ball, Bounce House, Outdoor Climbing Wall / Slide and Wagon Rides.

Festivities kick off at the Golden Spike Tower and Visitor Center Corn Maze and Pumpkin Patch October 7 and continue every weekend in October. Activities include Corn Maze, Corn Pit, Petting Zoo, Fun Jumpz, Family Photo Ops, Crafts, Apple Slingshots, Pick-Your-Own Pumpkin Patch, Face Painting, Corn Castle, Hayrack Ride and a Corn Cannon!

The event runs every Saturday 11am – 5pm and Sunday 1pm – 5pm. The last ticket for the Corn Maze is sold at 4:15.

The St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Pumpkin Festival, 3301 Echo Drive, on October 8 from 11am to 3, features a Family Fun Day with Pony Rides, Games, Boutique, Cake Walk, Bake Sale, Silent Auction, Raffle, Multiple Food Booths, and Pumpkins!!
