Sutherland 4th of July
Nebraska’s Biggest Little Village hosts an annual Independence Day Celebration. The fun starts on the 2nd of July with the slack rodeo performance, then continues with the first performance of the rodeo on July 3. On July 4 a full day of festivities is planned, starting with a 5K fun run bright and early in the morning, then the Kids Races at 9am, followed by frog and toad races at 10am. A short break, then there’s the community BBQ at 11am. The parade runs through downtown at 2pm, a pie judging contest at 3pm, and the final performance of the rodeo at 8:00pm.
